The mortar and pestle are good. The reason for rating it 3 stars is the incomplete listing description. The main material of the khal batta is plastic. The lower portion of the batta and the inside base of the khal are stainless steel. For some reason I thought the whole thing was steel and was painted red. Hence paying Rs 251 for this is not justified. Price should be much lower around 150-180.
Though it is stainless, the steel is of a little inferior quality as it sticks to the magnet. I'm hoping it will last long as most of it is plastic. They claim it to be unbreakable. Overall the product is ok. I mainly bought it to ground spices for tea. Since the other stone one we have is used for making pastes of garlic, etc.
